Privacy Notice

Version 2026-10-24 · Effective 24 October 2026

This notice explains how personal data is processed in the game Block4Me!, as required by Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). The Turkish version is the original; this is its translation.

In short: if you play without joining the ranking, your progress stays on your device and we hold no data about you. Joining the world ranking is optional and needs your explicit consent. From your second session on, there is an ad space at the top of the screen, shown by Google; in Classic you can choose to watch a short video for an extra chance. We use no analytics or tracking tools and we never sell your data. You can see your server data in the app and delete it with one tap.

1. Controller

The data controller under the KVKK and the controller under the GDPR is:
Ravidone Games
Address: Atalar Mahallesi, Esen Sokak, No:2, İç Kapı No:4, Kartal/İSTANBUL
Email: info@ravidone.com
Web: https://block4me.ravidone.com/

2. Data that stays on your device

Your progress, level, unlocked themes, achievements, stats, settings, an unfinished game, a random installation id created on the device and your notification preferences are stored only in the app’s storage on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. You can remove them by uninstalling the app or with Settings > Privacy > Reset data on this device.

Reminder notifications are scheduled on your device; we run no notification server. Notifications are only sent after you allow them, and only the kinds you choose.

3. World ranking and leagues (optional)

If you join the ranking, the following data is processed with the explicit consent you give on the join screen:

DataPurpose
An anonymous user id (random; no email or phone number is asked for)To link your scores to you and to be able to delete your account
The nickname you choose and when you last changed itTo show you in the ranking and the leagues, and to apply the 7-day rename limit
A public key created on your deviceTo verify that your games come from your device
Your scores and their times (all-time, weekly, daily), your league tier and pointsTo build the rankings and the weekly leagues
The puzzle levels you solve (mode, level, number of attempts, time of the solve) and their weekly and all-time totalsTo build the puzzle rankings
Your friend code and your friends list (who is friends with whom), and codes you tried that matched nobodyTo show the friends ranking and to limit code guessing
The version and date of the consent text you acceptedTo prove your consent and to ask again when the text changes

Your nickname, scores, the number of puzzle levels you solved and their attempts, and your league tier are visible to other players on the ranking screens; your friends ranking is seen only by your friends. We recommend not using your real name as a nickname. Joining requires you to confirm that you are 16 or older.

4. Score verification

For every game sent to the ranking, the move list, the random seed of the game and a summary of your move times (median and variation) are verified on the server by replaying the game’s rules. The purpose is to keep the ranking fair and to prevent cheating.

If automated checks find a score unusual, the score is held as “pending” and not shown to others; pending scores are reviewed by a person. You can write to us to contest this outcome.

5. Player reports

If you report an inappropriate nickname or a suspicious score in the ranking, we record who reported whom, for which reason and when. Nicknames reported by three different players are hidden. The purpose is to keep the ranking suitable and fair for everyone.

6. Security logs

With every request to our server, your IP address and technical details of the request are briefly kept in our infrastructure provider’s server logs, for the security of the service and to prevent abuse.

7. Advertising

Block4Me! is free and is supported by an ad space at the top of the screen and, in Classic, by short rewarded videos that play only when you choose to watch one. No ads are shown in your first session. The ads are chosen and shown by Google’s AdMob service; Google also processes this data as an independent controller under its own policies (how Google uses data from partner apps, Google Privacy Policy).

Data processed: on Android, the advertising ID (on iOS we do not ask for tracking permission, so the advertising identifier is not used), your approximate location derived from your IP address, device details (model, operating system, language, screen), your interactions with ads (views, taps) and crash and performance logs of the ad software.

Before asking you: from your second session on, the app sends a request to Google’s consent service (User Messaging Platform) to find out which consent rules apply; this request reaches Google with your IP address.

Depending on where you are:

  • European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: Google’s consent form is shown with a “Do not consent” option on its first screen. Ads are personalised only on the basis of, and to the extent of, your answer in that form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can change your answer with Settings > Privacy > Ad choices.
  • US states with privacy laws: you can opt out of personalised ads with Settings > Privacy > Ad choices.
  • Other countries: ads are personalised as described in this notice.

On Android you can delete or reset your advertising ID in the device settings. We never see the ad data; AdMob only gives us aggregate revenue reports. Ads are not marked as directed at children, and only content suitable for all ages (rating G) is shown.

8. How data is collected and legal bases

Data is collected electronically and automatically through the app: you enter your nickname, scores and moves come from your play, and technical details come from your device and its requests.

Not joining the ranking or not allowing personalised ads does not limit any feature of the game.

9. Recipients

  • Hosting provider: the data centre that provides the machine our ranking database and servers run on (processor). The servers are in Turkey.
  • Google (AdMob): chooses and shows the ads, and also processes data for itself as described above.
  • Other players: see your nickname, scores, the number of puzzle levels you solved and their attempts, and your league tier on the ranking screens; your friends see you on the friends ranking.
  • Public authorities: only where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data and never use it for marketing other than the ads.

10. Transfers abroad

Your ranking data is kept on servers in Turkey and is not transferred outside Turkey. Google’s servers are in many countries, including the United States; Google processes and transfers ad data under AdMob according to its own policies (section 7).

Account and data deletion

12. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request its correction if it is incomplete or wrong; to request its deletion or destruction under Article 7 of the KVKK; to request that corrections and deletions be notified to those third parties; to object to a result against you that arises only from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Players in the EU, the UK and Switzerland have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR; where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing does not make earlier processing unlawful.

How to use your rights:

  • In the app: under Settings > Privacy, “See my data” shows all your server data and lets you share it; you can correct your nickname on the app’s nickname screen; “Leave the ranking and delete my data” deletes all your server data at once, which also withdraws your consent.
  • By email: write to info@ravidone.com and include your ranking nickname. You can also send written requests to Atalar Mahallesi, Esen Sokak, No:2, İç Kapı No:4, Kartal/İSTANBUL.

Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest (KVKK Art. 13). If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr, KVKK Art. 14). If you live in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

If you never joined the ranking, our server holds no data about you; for ad data you can use Google’s tools (My Ad Center).

13. Children

Block4Me! is for players aged 13 and over; its content is suitable for all ages. Joining the ranking requires being 16 or older. We do not knowingly process data of children under 13; if you notice such a case, write to us and we will delete the data.

14. Security

All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Server data is protected by row-level access rules, so each player can only reach their own data. We collect no passwords, emails or phone numbers, so none can leak. We process only the minimum data the purpose needs.

15. Changes

When we change this notice we update its version and date. For a material change that affects ranking data, we show the new text in the app to players who joined the ranking and ask for their consent again. The current version of this notice: https://block4me.ravidone.com/legal/en/privacy.html
